Who we are

Monta Capital Plc ("Monta Capital", "we", "us") is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. We are a company registered in England and Wales (company number 12618347), registered office: Maple House, High Street, Potters Bar, England, EN6 5BS.

What personal data we collect

• Identity and contact data: name, email address, telephone number, country of residence.
• Enquiry data: what you tell us in a form, by email, by phone or on WhatsApp (for example your area of interest or indicative investment range).
• Investor data: if you become an investor, the information needed to verify your identity and eligibility and to manage your investment (handled through our Investor Portal and investment documentation).
• Technical data: pages visited, how you reached our website (for example a campaign link) and, only if you accept analytics cookies, anonymised usage data.

How we use it and our lawful basis

• To reply to your enquiry or registration of interest: legitimate interests (responding to people who contact us) or steps you ask us to take before entering into an agreement.
• To send our newsletter and updates: your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time from any email.
• To onboard and manage investors, including identity and anti-money laundering checks: performance of a contract and compliance with our legal obligations.
• To understand how our website is used: your consent (analytics cookies).
• To keep records and defend legal claims: legal obligation and legitimate interests.

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that has legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Who we share it with

We never sell your personal data. We share it only where needed, with:

• Service providers that run our systems on our behalf: website hosting and forms (Netlify), customer relationship management (HubSpot), email (Brevo), messaging (WhatsApp Business) and website analytics (Google Analytics).
• Our professional advisers, auditors, bankers and security trustee, where needed for an investment.
• Regulators, law enforcement or courts, where the law requires it.

International transfers

Some of our service providers process data outside the UK, including in the United States. When this happens we rely on recognised safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or the UK–US data bridge.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not lead to an investment: up to 2 years after our last contact.
• Investor records: for the life of the investment and at least 5 years afterwards, as required by anti-money laundering rules.
• Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
• Analytics data: up to 14 months.

How we protect it

Our website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to personal data is limited to the people who need it, and our providers are bound by contract to protect it.

Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its use, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect anything done before you withdraw it). To use any of these rights, email investorrelations@montacapital.com. We will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to deal with your concern first.

Cookies

• Essential: we remember your cookie choice in your browser (monta-cookie-consent). This is needed for the site to work and is always on.
• Analytics (only with your consent): Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*), kept for up to 14 months, help us understand which pages are useful.

You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. The WhatsApp button only opens WhatsApp when you click it; it sets no cookies on our site.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
