Monta Capital Plc is a public limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 12618347. Our registered office is Maple House, High Street, Potters Bar EN6 5BS, and our Portugal office is at Rua Castilho 14C, 5th Floor, Lisbon 1250-069.
Our filings, directors and registered office are publicly available on Companies House.
Our regulatory status
Monta Capital Plc is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
In practice, this means:
- Investments with Monta Capital are not protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).
- You cannot refer a complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS). You can raise any concern with us through our Investor Queries process.
- We do not provide financial, tax or legal advice. You should take independent professional advice before investing.
Who can invest
Our opportunities are not suitable for everyone, and not for retail investors. Details of investment opportunities are only made available, through our Investor Portal, to people who confirm that they meet the criteria for high net worth or sophisticated investors under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Financial Promotion) Order 2005, or who are otherwise permitted to receive them.
When you register for the Investor Portal, you will be asked to confirm which category applies to you before you can see any opportunity.
